  These are completely brand new pads, never been used or installed.
IMPORTANT: These brake pads need to be "broken in" before optimal braking performance can be achieved. As brake pads are a vital safety component of any bicycle, please make sure that you have the proper tools and technical know how to install them properly on your bike. If in doubt, please make sure that your brake pads are installed and adjusted by a qualified or experienced bicycle mechanic and test out your newly installed pads in a safe environment before heading out for an actual bike ride.
