Extremely beautiful & Exquisite
original antique ART NOUVEAU majolica Feng Shui Flowers
tile, manufactured about 1920 in Japan by FM or Fujimiyaki Tileworks from Nagoya. Such tiles were used extensively in Oriental Asia (e.g. China, Taiwan, Singapore & Malaysia) to decorate old houses or furnitures. Depict 3 different Oriental Fruits (Pomegranate, Peaches and Buddha's Palm) surrounded by bats on the 4 corners, symbolizing Abundance and Prosperity in Chinese Feng Shui (metaphysics) belief. Designed in high relief /3D that are rarely seen in European tiles. Measurement: 6 inch square. Condition: Good, for tile of such high relief, with nicks / flea bites and minor surface wear (please view picture). Methods of payment: PAYPAL only.
