This is a very basic, time-tested and highly reliable ceiling mount mirror ball motor.

Unlike cheaper versions I've seen advertised, these are
all steel (no plastic) and weigh in at about a pound, so they're built to last.

And it's not always a consideration, but it may be important for your use: these are quiet; a motor I used to sell (and discontinued years ago) had an annoying hum; some also create a distracting gear noise. But, not this one, which is why I've stuck with it ever since despite the higher cost.

The engineering and construction of this unit is rock solid, and it provides reliable turning power/torque for objects up to about 7 or 8 pounds, or roughly what a typical 16 inch Disco Ball weighs in at.

Picture at left: pre-drilled mounting holes make for easy installation.

The cord is a modest 3 ft, so you'll want to add an extension cord (unless there just happens to be a ceiling mounted socket near).
