This is a 500g bag of Sodium Metabisulphate, otherwise known as campden powder NA2S2O5 (where the 2 and 5 should be small as chemical symbols should be). It is usually used for sterilising and also for preserving home wines. It is also useful as a water treatment in beer making.

If you are in England, Wales or Central Scotland the maximum carriage I charge, no matter how many items you buy, is just £7.95. If you are in the Highlands or Islands or anywhere else please ask for a quote. If you are unsure where you are (and I have days like that!) then here is the list of Scottish postcodes that ARE in my £7.95 delivery area:
