The functions on the XPOS 2 DRO make it suitable for use on lathe-mill,
drill-mill, metal lathes and horizontal/vertical mills.
Why? XPOS-2 has Taper measure and Tool-offset memory for lathe, and Bolt Hole Circle for mill.

- Recall the last coordinate position (which is useful for repeated process).
- RTN: or pause to Return To Normal mode of operation (last co-ordinates positions would be remembered and machinist may continue from where he left off).
- Mechanic Zero: re-establish workpiece zero position after a power fail.
- Bolt Hole Circle (Pitch Circle Diameter) - 5 simple steps to find the XY co-ordinates for all the holes.
- Linear error compensation.
- Change counter (+/-) direction.
Special Functions of XPOS 2 DRO for lathe:
- Tool Offset: Store up to 99 tools offset (x1, x2, ....x99 for x-direction).
- R/D - Radius/ Diameter key conveniently located on the front panel.
- Taper Measure - to measure the angle of taper, simply touch 2 points on the taper of a work piece and the DRO will calculate the angle. This feature is great for doing taper jobs on the lathe.

Microscale and Slim scale are 2 different models designed for tight spaces such as the top / compound slide (tool holder) of the lathe. Scale size available from 70 to 500 mm travel stroke.
Ultra Scale - has heavy alum frame designed to withstand machine vibration. Travel length 950, 1050, 1150, 1250, 1350, 1450, 1550, 1650, 1850, and 2050 mm available.
