The Worm Tower - Dendrobaena 128ltr Composting Wormery

Technically speaking these worms can eat anything that has ever lived! But in order for your wormery to function really well we say:

Do feed:  cooked or raw vegetables and peelings, fruit, rice, pasta, eggs shells, tea bags, cardboard, paper, coffee grounds, bread, contents of vacuum cleaner.

Don't feed: meat, bones, sauces/dairy, anything uncooked from the onion family, or uncooked citrus fruits and peel. 

We are a legitimate worm farm so we have extensive knowledge to help support our customers with any ongoing problem solving and queries. We have this knowledge from years of worm farming!  For the anglers amongst you this is a great way to produce your own stock of quality dendrobaena worms, as they make great fishing bait as well as great composters.  Our Worm Towers are stackable wormeries, consisting of 3 composting boxes and a base box, all re-cycleable plastic. 

The Worm Tower is  ideal for a household with 3-4 people and comes complete with:

Our instruction leaflet gives you guidance on what the worms can and cannot digest, how to harvest the worms, how to collect the castings (fertiliser), and how to maintain productivity within theTower. 

Vermicomposting creates some liquid fertiliser 'worm tea', which will drain down through the boxes.  The base box will collect this and it will need to be diluted 50/50 with water, it is excellent for watering as a plant food. 

Worms are fantastic creatures and are completely disease free, but there is no need to physically handle them if you do not wish to with this system!   This wormery can be used indoors e.g garden shed, or outdoors.  Please do not save up your waste before purchasing a wormery as they can eat their bedding and will not require any additional food waste for a couple of weeks (this is when the nutrient food can be given).
