Description
Funky Deco shaped teapot with orange and a blue luster finish with two cream panels on the teapot. A bold orange, blue, brick red and green floral pattern is on the back and front center panels while the front panel is flanked on both side with orange, yellow and blue flowers. The lid and the trivet have an interesting Deco design in blue, orange and brick red. All patterns and flowers are outlined in black so they pop even more. Just a beautiful teapot with the rare trivet, sure to be one of your favorite's.

Circa/Year: Pre-WWII.

Measurements: Teapot: with lid, 7" tall x 10" wide x 5.5" deep. Trivet: stands slightly less than 1" tall x about 5.75" x aboit 5.75".

Label/backstamp: Red flower MADE IN JAPAN HAND PAINT. This is the mark of Seiei & Co. which was closed in 1962 and in operation before WWII.

Material: Porcelain.

Condition: No cbips, cracks or repairs on teapot.There is a very small chip on the interior of the lid where it goes inside the teapot so you do not see it unless you remove the lid and look for it. Trivet has a couple of pinhead sized fleabites that are not very discernible, have to look close to see. All pieces have crazing and some mild paint loss.
