VINTAGE BESSEMER BBQ PLATTER!

a classic

If you have the set of square plates-this goes with it!

 circa late 60's-70's!

 

Up for auction is this bessemer BBQ platter. It is plastic and is from the 60's-70's (melmac/Melamine). It has the cool modernist print. This is the large platter that is part of the BBQ plate set.

This plate is in nice condition. it only has minimal scratches. Nothing too serious-ie: no knife slashes to the plastic! The back of the plate has someones initials in fine paint (so no-one stole it at the BBQ!). Strangely enough the owner has scratched or sanded off the circular Bessemer label. You can just see part of the circle left. Who knows why?? :)  

The platter is serving size. Measuring 37.4cm across and 26.5cm at it's widest (14 3/4" x 10 1/2").

The plate is in very nice conditon and ready to use. It's a classic Australian BBQ design!
