10% of all sales will go to benefit the "Conservation Education / National Symbols Program for use in furthering the wise use of the environment and programs that foster maintenance and improvement of environmental quality." The method of giving the proceeds to the National Symbols Program is through a Licensing agreement and not through e-Bay's Giving Works programs.

The 2" x 3.5 mm thick, brass, Woodsy Owl Geocoin has been created in two versions. The front side of each version is identical and depicts in colorful hard enamel Woodsy Owl standing and holding a GPS receiver. The reverse is highly polished and has the geocaching symbol encircled with one of two official tag lines - "Give A Hoot. Don't Pollute." and "Lend A Hand. Care For The Land."

As good as the shipping calculator on e-Bay is, it is not perfect. Because shipping costs can vary greatly by weight, destination and shipping method, it is difficult to calculate exactly what the shipping costs for every order will be. The online calculator is fairly accurate for orders of single items. If, however, you purchase multiple items from us, please conatct us prior to sending payment. We will work with you in order to get you your item as quickly as possible for as little as possible.
Insurance
Insurance is always optional at buyer's expense for domestic orders. If you choose not to purchase insurance, we cannot cover the cost of merchandise lost or damaged in shipping. Insurance is also available on international orders, however, it is usually not cost-effective. If you wish to purchase insurance for an order outside the U.S., please contact us and we will get an exact price and send you an invoice. The shipping calculator on e-Bay does not properly calculate what international insurance is as each country has different requirements. If you use it, we will contact you and either refund the payment or give you the option of paying the proper amount in full.
