The colored porcelain of kwangchow, also called Kwangchow Décor for short, originated from Kwangchow tri-colored porcelain in the Ming Dynasty (AD1368-1644). During the Qing Dynasty (A.D. 1644-1911) the colors of the porcelain has developed from three to five, and gradually evolved into an artistic style all of its own.
Kwangchow Décor has eye-catching colors, compact composition and exquisite painting. The decoration of gold lines on the porcelain gives a look of myriads of golden threads woven on the brocade.
