Vintage Japan Faux Pearl Color Beads Necklace 1970s



Offering today is this beautiful vintage faux pearl and colored bead necklace features four groups of beads in pastel blue, green, purple and pink spaced along lower half of necklace.  Clasp marked JAPAN.

 

Necklace is approx. 24 inches long.  Beads are all 6mm in diameter.  It is an unsold inventory item from the 70's.  Good condition.

Item was obtained from a friend's vintage jewelry shop in Indiana, USA.

Hello, welcome to the Vintage Inventory House by me, J.T. and my Malaysian partner Alicia. Alicia is an avid vintage jewelry collector. Alicia doesn't buy vintage jewelry that has been previously owned by antique shops in Malaysia.  Her collection is imported from the United States via her American friend whose parents ran a successful jewelry business for many years. They retired, and had a lot of unsold inventory.

 

Alicia and I created this partnership, because many of Alicia's friends think that her eye for  fashion is so unique. We couldn't wait to share Alicia's talent for choosing fabulous vintage jewelry with you.
 

The vintage fashion trend that's popular in the U.S. has emerged in  Asia . Vintage accessories  like sweater guards and shoe clips are very unique and rare. We have them!

 We sell two kinds of vintage items:
 1. Metal pieces of jewelry that are very rare and unique designs.
They represent "old English" style of jewelry.
2. Plastic or wooden pieces of jewelry that are for every day wear. 
Our pieces are new items that have been in storage for years. They are very valuable and collectible.

Old jewelry has patina that occurs from natural aging because of wear and oxidation. We don't polish our items when we list them because the value of the piece may decrease.  Collectors love the natural oxidation, it adds a certain mystique and also indicates age of the item, enhancing its value. We stand behind the quality of our jewelry.
