Vintage 1960s Functioning Mini Toy Washing Machine

This auction is for:

® An amazing little toy washing machine from the 1960s which actually works and is in excellent condition

I remember washing my dolls socks and bits and pieces in this as a child!

? Pop open lid and put water in the ‘drum’ – making sure the hose is fixed at the top
Add clothes and washing powder if required
? Close lid and turn handle to make the agitator move backwards and forwards (just like a real machine)
Remove top of hose and hold down so gravity will empty the water from the drum

The machine, called a Wash-o-mat, measures 4¼ x 3¼ x just under 6 (11 x 8 x 15 cm). It has a few small marks and scratches but no visible damage that affect the working mechanism – I haven’t put water in to test it but the handle and agitator work properly.

This is such a brilliant little toy and will give hours of fun.
