VIXEN LVW 13mm Telescope Eyepiece made from Lanthanum Glass
BRAND NEW from Vixen of Japan! Made from rare optics called Lanthanum Glass. Due to so many requests, McGill now offers the Vixen wide angle LVW eyepiece lineup to our local and overseas friends/neighbours. The LVW lineup offers a wide 65 degree field of view, with plenty of eye relief. Special multi-coatings, a solid optical design and a Japanese standard excellent finish, are all included a most reasonable price. For high end viewing quality without the high end price tag, we heartily recommend the Vixen LVW lineup, including the low cost and very fun LV 8 ~ 24mm zoom eyepiece for the LV series. Benefits the Vixen LVW eyepiece series offers to the discriminating observer include the following:
* For maximum light throughout and bright images, all lens surfaces are fully multi-coated.
* All LVW focal lengths provide a generous 20mm of eye relief, to allow many comfortable hours of viewing, even when wearing glasses
* All LVWs are 1.25" barrel size and offer a nearly unvignetted full 65 degree field of view, except the LVW42 which is 2" barrel size.
* All LVW eyepieces are threaded for standard 1.25" size filters.
The 13mm LVW eyepiece is designed to give you an incredible wide rich field of view, while reducing any internal loss of contrast or sharpness. Stunning views of the Moon, Galaxies or extended Nebulae are sure to follow when using this eyepiece. Be careful when viewing with this eyepiece, you just may feel like you are falling into a galaxy.
