USSR (Russia): Main Soviet order of Lenin (1 type)

It is a very nice copy of main Soviet order of Lenin (1 type).
Made of tin metal.

The very first type of an award. On a slang of collectors "Tractor" is called. It was handed over from May, 23, till September, 27, 1934. Lenin's award of a sample of 1930 considerably differed in the sizes and appearance from the subsequent types. The sign on an award of a sample of 1930 represented a round portrait-medallion with Lenin's bas-relief in the center and an industrial landscape on a background. Under Lenin's bas-relief the image of a tractor (because of him the given type has received the nickname) was located. On a circle around of a medallion ears of wheat on which in the top part of a sign have been imposed a sickle and hammer, and in the bottom part - letters "USSR" (each letter was a separate element and fastened a method of the soldering) settled down. The sign was made of silver, with superimposed gold details. The sizes of a sign: height - 38 mm, width - 37,5 mm. Reverser smooth, profound. On a reverser of an award, in the central part, the cut pin with a round platform in the basis settled down. The pin and platform are executed from bronze. Number of an award is executed shtampovannymi by figures in height 1,5 mm and located is horizontal, is higher than a cut pin (at 12 o'clock on a dial). Brand "GOZNAK" executed by a method of punching, is located below a pin (at 6 o'clock). A clamping nut in diameter of 32 mm. The nut has the central bronze insert on the internal party. It has been let out about 700 awards of this type. Minimal known number of an award - 74, maximal - 690. On the first type of a sign there was no red star and a red banner - the basic Soviet symbols, therefore in November, 1931 manufacturing of such signs has been stopped. In September, 1934 the new type of an award has appeared. Later, the significant part of awards of the first type was obmenjana on awards of the fourth type, with preservation of serial number. Therefore it is possible to meet late types of an award of Lenin, having rather low number corresponding to the first type.
