Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

WEARING TENEX® SHOCK ABSORBER CAN PREVENT CARPAL TUNNEL SYNDROME

How Does TENEX® Shock Absorber Work? Tenex® Shock Absorber utilizes a high density liquid formula that is designed to absorb vibration at the wrist, before it can travel to the sensitive tendons of the carpal tunnel. When TENEX® Shock Absorber is subjected to even minute impacts from repeated shocks and vibrations, it creates a continuous counterwave action inside the spherical module which neutralizes the force of impact and any resulting harmful effects to the tendons.

Tenex® Shock Absorber has been shown to eliminate
50% to 70% of harmful vibrations
How is Tenex® Shock Absorber Worn? Lightweight, elegant and comfortable Tenex® Shock Absorber features an adjustable self-gripping wrist band with a soft breathable backing. Worn just above the wrist bone Tenex® Shock Absorber should fit snugly but comfortably. Do not overtighten. You may want to adjust the band for comfort after a brief period of wear. The strap may be removed and washed and then simply re-inserted into the Tenex® module.
Tenex® Shock Absorber may be worn on either wrist (or both wrists)
according to the activity being performed.
How Does Tenex® Shock Absorber Compare with Other Products? Other products rely on different technology for their effectiveness to combat carpal tunnel, tennis elbow and golfers elbow. Air braces, cream pain relievers, elbow bands and wraps, gels, hot & cold therapy, magnetic products, patches and neoprene sleeves are all used to treat stress injuries with effectiveness rates between 0 and 7%. Studies show that Tenex® Shock Absorber reduces damaging vibrations by 50 to 70% - far more effective than its nearest competitors. Please see our Product Comparison chart for more information

wear Tenex® Shock Absorber

Testing of Tenex® Shock Absorber included two engineering studies, three medical assessments and rigorous clinical and field tests of industrial workers. In study after study, Tenex>® Shock Absorber's effectiveness was verified by professional independent researchers for its ability to combat carpal tunnel and tennis elbow conditions .
Results show 50% reduction in time of vibrations and 70% reduction in amplitude of vibrations when wearing Tenex® Shock Absorber compared with an identically sized and weighted placebo. Researchers expressed their confidence in these results:
COMPREHENSIVE STUDIES
Without Tenex®
Force of impact without wearing Tenex® Shock Absorber

With Tenex®
Force of impact is reduced by 70% when wearing Tenex® Shock Absorber
Vibration dampening results were procured from oscilloscope amplitude measurements connected to a piezoelectric sensor and to a computer to average data.

"Tenex® Shock Absorber has been clinically proven to eliminate the damaging shock waves and vibrations that cause fatigue, muscle stress, joint injuries and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Studies and trial tests placed Tenex® SA ahead of its competitors with 50-70% of the noxious vibrations eliminated. I highly recommend this product."

"I have never tested such an efficient device. The vibration damping qualities of all the other tested products obtained between 5 - 10% vibration control while Tenex® SA reached 70%."

Dr. J. Karl Hendrick,
Professor of Mechanical
Engineering - Massachusetts
Institute of Technology (MIT)

"The results obtained in all tests are consistent with previous studies on the effectiveness of Tenex® Shock Absorber. In the test study, we witnessed that 90% of the subjects showed significant reduction in the intensity of pain and an increase in flexibility and freedom of movement. We conclude that Tenex® Shock Absorber is effective in the reduction of symptoms of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. This is a real scientific breakthrough in the treatment of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome and of Repetitive Motions Disorders."

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome - Treatment and Solution

What is carpal tunnel syndrome? The carpal tunnel is a bony canal within the palm side of the wrist that allows for the passage of the median nerve to the hand. Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) is a pinching of the median nerve within the wrist. Pinching or compression of this nerve by the transverse carpal ligament sets into motion a progressively crippling disorder resulting in wrist pain, numbness and tingling in the hand. Pain is accompanied by a "pins and needles" feeling at night, weakness in grip and a lack of coordination.

What can cause carpal tunnel syndrome? The most common cause of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome is inflammation of the tendons in the tunnel which can normally be attributed to repetitive use of the hand and/or wrist. Repetitive Stress Injuries (RSI) can happen to anyone whose work calls for long periods of steady hand movement, from musicians and dental hygienists to meat cutters and cashiers. RSIs tend to come with work that demands repeated grasping, turning and twisting: they are especially likely if the work requires repetitive vibration, as in hammering nails or operating a power tool. Stressful hand, arm and neck positions - whether from working at a desk, long-distance driving or waiting on tables - only aggravate the potential for damage. A number of sports can bring on Repetitive Stress Injuries. The obvious sports associated with these ailments include both Tennis Elbow as well as Golfers Elbow. Just about any activity that involves repetitive movement, including rowing, skiing, archery, etc. can lead to injury.

Causes of carpal tunnel syndrome and repetitive stress injuries? Repetitive use of hand/wrist. Long periods of steady hand movement. Repeated vibration. Repeated grasping, turning, twisting.

Those most likely to suffer from carpal tunnel syndrome
Accountants - Cashiers - Carpenters - Carpet layers - Construction workers - Dental hygienists - Foresters - Game Designers Gardeners - Golfers - Iron workers - Keyboarders - Landscapers - Loggers - Mechanics - Musicians - Pistol shooters - Power tool operators - Researchers- Roofers - Software programmers - Students - Tennis players - Tree Planters - Truckers
TENEX® SA WILL REDUCE DOWNTIME ON THE JOB DUE TO
WORK-RELATED REPETITIVE STRESS INJURIE
According to the Wall Street Journal, the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA)
reports 60% of workplace health disorders involve repetitive motion.
What can be done to relieve symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome? Various braces, straps, creams, arm supports, and medications etc. have been employed to alleviate pain caused by Repetitive Stress Injuries. Some are too bulky to wear for any length of time, some cause intractable side effects of their own, while others simply do not work. Tenex® Shock Absorber (SA) has been clinically proven to eliminate the damaging vibrations that cause fatigue, muscle stress, joint injuries and Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Double blind testing undertaken by independent researchers has shown that Tenex® SA reduces shocks and vibrations to the arm by 50 - 70%. Tenex® SA will reduce downtime on the job due to work-related repetitive stress injuries. It is very effective for workers who are exposed to constant, and often unsuspected, damage caused by repetitive motion from the use of impact and vibrational tools. It alleviates the stress inflicted to arms and joints from repetitive pounding and tapping. Even minute impacts from the repeated motion of keyboarding may be combatted with Tenex® SA - the best small shock absorber on the market!
