Sony Vaio Z505SX Notebook computer (No reserve price!) I have the above for sale. Very old notebook, in fact my first notebook. Cannot guarantee everything will work as below. Just wanted to sell it cheaply it to someone who have some uses for it. I will also give the original Sony leather notebook bag together with it. Specifications: Intel Pentium II processor at 366 MHz, 128 MB RAM, 12.1" XGA TFT screen (1024x768 pixels), integrated 10Base-T/100Base-TX Ethernet interface, 6.4 GB fixed hard drive, one Type II PC card slot, two USB ports, infrared, integrated V.90 WinModem,IEEE-1394 (i.e. FireWire) interface, built-in microphone and stereo speakers, Sony Memory Stick media slot. Condition of the notebook: - It is still functional except that the hard disk might be dying soon. It boot up sometimes but sometimes it just refuses to start giving ticking sound. - OS is Windows 2000 professional if you managed to get the hard disk booted. - The notebook can close but the latch to lock it is broken. However, it is still functional - The keyboard is 100% working. However the place to rest your palm is slighted eroded. Got mini bubbles. But still functional - The ethernet port is working, however, the connector is loose. - Everything else is working except that the screen has a bit of yellow tinted coat. - The notebook looks pretty worn out. Why am I selling it? I kinda feel sad if I were to just let it collect dust at my place, so I decided to sell it to someone who might have some uses for it. What can you do with it? You can replace the hard disk and install Linux. And use it as a mini server or perform background tasks or doing number crunching... there is a lot of possibilities. If you need the link, here is it: http://weitz.de/vaio.html No warranty, no return. Self collect at Pasir Ris. On Nov 04, 2009 at 23:22:05 SGT, seller added the following information:

I bought it in California together with the notebook during a trip there.Still look damn cool. However, I hardly use it. So must as well bundle it with the notebook to the guy who will take care of the notebook. |
