The coin in this series have a common reverse design. The denomination of the coin is in the center with year date at the top. Two stalks of paddy appear on the left and the word "SINGAPORE" on the right.

The coin has not been in circulation, but may present some light patina due to age, and may be polished off (due to their storage in peforated bags; unlike the paper rolls in use today which offered better storage/protection, they could also have slight edge marks which could likewise be polished off).
