SUPERB LIVE STEAM MODEL BOAT 1950 SHIP LAUNCH engine

This is a superb

LIVE STEAM

MODEL STEAM BOAT.

It is called

MISS ENGLAND

(Named after the famous world speed record boats of the 1920's and 30's.)

The model measures approx 13 3/4 inches (350mm) long and has a streamlined, pressed alluminium hull and superstructure.

 Inside is the original ( "pop pop" type) live steam engine, complete with its original burner.

This looks as though it has not hardly ever been used and I cannot see any reason why it would not run again.

The model is named

MISS ENGLAND

on the bows and bears the maker's name on the burner filler cap

It is in very good, "NEAR MINT" condition with a few very minor scuffs to the paintwork but no dings, damage, or repairs.

This is a great vintage model live steam launch. 

It would make a fine display item as it is, or should be suitable to steam up and sail.

It would make a great addition to any collection.
