On the front is an image of Saddam Hussein in his military splendeur with the Jihadi horsemen while the back shows the 'Sarh Al Shaheed' in Baghdad, Iraq.
These 25 Dinars are the most sought after as they are the last Iraqi banknotes to have Saddam in his military uniform on it. Later notes were of lesser quality with Saddam in his business suits.
Printed at the height of Saddam's power by the British money factory De La Rue using Swiss technology, these 25 dinar currencies are of the highest quality with watermark as prove of authenticity. At that time, the dinar had an official exchange rate value » 1 IQD º 3.22 USD.
These are 100% authentic pieces and were procured from legitimate collectors/suppliers prior to the sanctions, not war loots. As a result of sanctions, notes printed after these were of lesser quality and do not have any watermark while many were suspicious counterfeits.
