This auction is for a Brand New, In Box (BNIB) Royal Albert Old Country Roses Covered Tureen on a Footed Pedestal. I have other matching china pieces from the same Old Country Roses pattern to sell. Please click here to view them.
The Royal Albert Soup Tureens are very popular amongst collectors. The tureens are very difficult to get because they are not produced as much as the tea sets. I suspect the high pricing is the main reason why the factory would keep their production low.
This auction is for 1 piece of this beautiful, Covered Tureen on a Footed Pedastal. I will throw in a FREE steel Ladle with white porcelain embossed flower design on the handle. My way of thanking you for your kind purchase of this special item.
Both the Large Soup Tureen and the Ladle are factory firsts quality. Both brand new. And both in their original boxes. As such, they do not show any scratches or markings through the backstamp, or on any surface part.
Please note that this is a sturdy Tureen. So, it is heavy. I will double box it when shipping overseas so that it will be able to withstand the most unmerciful of treatments.
This Tureen has a very nice size to put soup, rice, noodles or anything that you can think of! It is a very versatile Tureen because of its unique shape. The beautiful handles on the sides make it very easy to transport from the kitchen directly to the dinner table. The large enough knob that sits on top of the lid also makes it easier to take the lid on and off. This is an absolute must-have-item on your dinner table this holiday season.
This Large Tureen is in EXCELLENT condition. It has a beautiful Montrose design. There are the signature English Tea Roses surrounding its 'belly' and lid. The 22k Gold banding adds an elegant finish around the finial, handles and foot.
It can hold 28 quarts capacity. Beautiful porcelain, fluted body and lid. It has a tiny 'opening' at the lid for the ladle to go through. There is still full gilding on each rim, lid, finial top and base. So far, there are about 150 million items of the Old Country Roses design sold worldwide. Because of this, there are many "copy-cats" of the Old Country Roses pattern around. Whenever you buy a Royal Albert item, please look out for the stamp of authenticity at the back of each item.

mistaken this Large looking 'bowl' with the other
' Dip Bowl set'
from the range of Royal Albert party ware.

Any import tax or custom duties, or any other types of fees incurred at the point of receipt will be borne solely by the buyer. I will not reimburse you on this.
