Are these reproduction or replica telephones ? NO! -- These original phones are already 30 to 50 years old and work great! A small, local phone company put these phones in storage in the 1980's as the touch-tone models replaced rotary phones in homes. We purchased them when the company needed to free up that storage space. They have the adjustable ringer that can wake the dead and the large magnets in the handset for a really clear sound.

Will these phones work outside the United States (UK, Canada, Germany, etc.)? YES! -- we have sold dozens of these phones outside the United States and you can look though our positive feedback to prove they worked well on arrival.

**Will these phones work with DSL or Cable Phone (VOIP) systems? Maybe?? -- Our phones will work with your home's standard telephone system but were invented before computer networks like the internet. We have found that a DSL filter usually allows our phones to connect to a DSL line without any problems. As to VOIP systems, we have seen our phones work with some VOIP systems and not with others. It is not the phone's fault! Many of these new internet phone systems are poorly engineered and some cannot "backward integrate" telephones in use before the Internet Age.

Oops-- I have a VOIP system-- What can I do? If you run into any problems connecting to your cable internet phone system, simply ask your internet system provider if there is an adapter needed to make the rotary dial phone work with their system. Sometimes without an adapter their systems will not recognize the rotary phone's pulse dialing or the ringer may not ring because older phones like ours required more voltage to make the bells ring. Do VOIP systems really make sense? When you dial 9-1-1, don't you want the police or fire department to be able to find you?
