This is a wonderful full-page color plate by Edwin Deming, a famous wildlife and Western artist from a rare, expensive book that was published over 100 years ago. It has a wonderful primative or folk style to it. It has exquisite pastel tones.

It depicts the cutest rabbit bringing a huge pile of fish as a gift to a Native American Indian woman inside a teepee or hut. It is a stunning print! Included with the print is several pages of a story called, "The Gratitude of Rabbit".

The print has a blank back, meaning it was printed separately from the text for better quality and then tipped in or sewn into the book when it was bound. It would look wonderful framed.

PLEASE NOTE that the page has stains in the margin that do NOT cross over into the picture area. The the page size is approx. 7.25 x 9.75 inches and the actual image size (without margins) is approx. 5.5 x 8 inches (approx. 14x20.25 cm).

This is NOT a recent copy or modern reproduction, but a GENUINE item garuanteed to be over 100 years old.

All prints are delivered in an archival sleeve. USA shipments are usually rolled in a sturdy tube, and sent by First Class mail with Delivery Confirmation. I stand behind my products and offer a FULL REFUND if you think the product does not match the description in any way.
