Aubusson refers to workshops established in 1743 in the village of Aubusson in central France. The Aubusson workshops manufactured carpets primarily for the nobility. We refer to this design as Aubusson because of its soft subtle shadings, reminiscent of those antique tapestries. These decorative pillows are favorites of interior designers due to each pillow's tastefully subdued hues.
