Approx. 14" x 4 3/4" x 1 1/4", this antique Wooden box is Flemish art - with a wonderful design burned into the wood. On the lid - inside and out - is a pretty woman with a large floral design. The brass hinges are marked 'Grammes & Son Allentown PA.' I am assuming this box was meant for gloves. The bottom of the box is stamped '600 assorted' so could this have been a store display box that items were sold out of? It is one of the most stunning pieces of flemish art I've seen. I believe this is from the 1920s era. Good luck!
