Microlight's CompactGPS-2003 Plug-&-Play GPS allows your Windows based Laptop, Pocket PC or Handheld PC with a CF slot to become a portable navigation system – it will guide you to where you want to be in the world. It is in Compact Flash form-factor and features all view tracking capability.

 

With 8-Channel architecture technology, this Microlight's CompactGPS-2003 card will provide you a fast Time-First-Fix (TIFF) under all start-up conditions as well as fast data acquisition and reacquisition. To Minimize TIFF followed by a power down, this CompactGPS-2003 card also equipped with built-in battery providing power to the on-board Static Random Access Memory (SRAM) and Real-Time Clock (RTC) during the loss of primary power. This reduces TIFF and prolongs the battery life of your devices.

 

There is also an innovative design external GPS antenna comes with this GPS unit. When connected with the external antenna your GPS receiver will talk to more satellites and get better reception.
