We are selling new sets of parts for replacing individual keys of
  • 15'' Apple MacBook Pro laptops
(we are not selling whole keyboards).

Each set of key parts includes (example set pictured at right):

  1. the key's key-cap;
  2. the key's hinge scissor mechanism;

You can also request the key's nipple-shaped rubber spring.

February 2006 to Early 2008

These key parts are compatible with first generation 15'' Macbook pros, second generation "Glossy" 15'' Macbook pros and third generation 15'' Core 2 Duo Macbook pros. The compatible model numbers (written on the back of the laptops) include A1150, A1211 and A1226. These models were shipped between Feb. 2006 and Feb. 2008.

Early 2008 to Present

For 15'' MacBook Pros shipped after February 2008 (models A1260 and A1287- written on the back of laptop), please email us (use "Ask seller a question" at top) to ask about the availibility of key parts for these late model laptops.

All standard US/English keys are in stock in large volume . Condition: New.
Models A1260 and A1287 (shipped after February 2008):
Please email us to ask about key part availibility (use "Ask seller a question" at top). Condition: New.

We do not stock parts for non-US/English keyboards. We mean it when we say "large volume ," currently there is no need to ask us whether we have the keys you are after, we have them! However, it might be a good idea to ask about a key's availability when they are listed as in ''small volume'' (use "Ask seller a question" at top).

  left "shift", "A", "S" and spacebar KEYS : IN STOCK but DOUBLE price ...

So many people want parts for the left "shift", "A", "S" and spacebar keys that we have to buy many keyboards just for these 4 key positions. To keep these key parts in stock for you we need to charge more for them:

OTHER KEYS NORMAL PRICE

  • A part set for each one of the left "shift", "A", "S" and spacebar key positions counts as quantity 2.
  • A part set for all and each of the other key positions (including right "shift") counts as quantity 1.
