Open trapezoids of polished precious metal hold a dangling round faceted purple amethyst. The earrings are slightly smaller than the pendant. Two hidden loops for a chain are built into the pendant so that it does not so much hang from a chain as on it. The chain is invisible between the two loops, making the pendant appear to be floating. The overall effect is sleek and modern.

Quality and beauty of workmanship are evident from every angle of this exceptionally pretty new pendant and earrings set, which is hallmarked 925 on the back side. The ear wires are likewise hallmarked 925. The pendant measures approximately 1-1/4 inches high by just over 1/4 inch wide, and its faceted amethyst measures just over 1/4 inch in diameter. Each lovely dangle earring measures approximately 1 inch high (excluding the ear wire) by just under 1/4 inch wide. Its faceted amethyst measures just under 1/4 inch in diameter. With the ear wire, it measures 1-1/2 inches high. This brand-new sterling silver and amethyst pendant and pierced earrings set is an elegant adornment to grace any woman's neck and pierced ears.
