The matte finish resembles pewter, but is harder and more durable. Metalware will not crack, chip or dent and is FDA approved, safe for use with food. Retains temperature after being placed in the refrigerator, freezer or oven (not to exceed 400 degrees) to keep your hot foods hot and your cold foods cold.
