MSI Slot-1 Motherboard + Intel Pentium3 550Mhz CPU
Free Power Supply Unit (PSU) suitable for Pentium 2 or 3 generation PCs only.

This is a used set of Slot-1 motherboard & Intel Pentium3 550Mhz CPU.  Tested today with the installation of Windows 2000 Professional.  Still in good working condition (Pix 3 shows the motherboard & CPU powering up. Just that I didn't set the CPU speed correctly before taking pix.). Can also run Windows XP Professional but Event Viewer shows some conflicts.  Never really got issues in Windows XP but just to highlight in case potential buyers want to know. 

1. Motherboard (Model No: MSI-6163 Pro)
  • Based on Intel BX chipset & supports 100MHz FSB only.
  • Has 3 SD-RAM slots & supports up to 768MB of SD-RAM.  Use double-sided SD-RAMs for 256MB modules to ensure compatibility.  Single-sided ones will give problems.
  • Full-ATX board with 1 AGP 2X, 5 PCI & 2 ISA slots.
  • No onboard sound or LAN.
  • Includes a MS-6915 ATA100 PCI card.  This PCI card can connect to 4 IDE hard disks, each hard disk up to 120GB only.  Note that this ATA100 card can be used on this motherboard or MSI BX Master only.  Won't work on other motherboard.

  • Note that a small piece of plastic on the motherboard's IDE connector has fallen off.  Doesn't affect performance though.
2. CPU (Intel Pentium3 550Mhz)
  • Code & Stepping: 550/512/100/2.0V S1 10070095-0206 Philippines '98 SL3FJ
  • 100MHz FSB Coppermine Core.
  • Includes an original Intel heatsink/fan (not shown in pix).
Pix of actual motherboard & CPU below.  Both items have no more warranty but 2 days personal warranty will be provided for buyer to test that they are working fine.  No refund after that.  Items included in this sale are MSI 6163 Pro motherboard, Intel P3 550Mhz CPU, MS-6915 ATA100 PCI card (shown in Pix 2), an original Intel heatsink/fan & a free power supply unit (PSU) only. No other things included & no warranty for the free item.
