DO NOT EXPECT IT TO BE SUPER FAST BUT IT GET THE JOB DONE. IF YOU ARE ALSO A MAC USER WITH SCSI DEVICES (e.g scanners, storage etc) THIS POWERBOOK WILL BE USEFUL AND SERVE YOUR PURPOSE. I'M GETTING RID OF IT BECAUSE I'VE ONE TWO MANY SYSTEMS AT MY PLACE HENCE LOOKING FOR A NEW USER AND ALSO CLEAR SOME PRECIOUS SPACE. I'M THROWING IN AN ORIGINAL APPLE CARRYING CASE (ALUMINUM LOOK AND FEEL) THAT CAME WITH THE UNIT . PLEASE CHECK THE PICTURE FOR ACTUAL SHAPE AND DESIGN BEFORE YOU BID OR AGREE TO BUY, PLEASE NOTE THIS UNIT IS SOLD IN AS IS CONDITION AND HAS SOME MINOR DEFECTS WHICH I'M LISTING BELOW (MAJOR - DEPENDS ON HOW YOU LOOK AT IT). The following features/ functions are not working: * Clock battery is dead, therefore, the date and time will not work unless you reset it manually each time you boot the computer. However, this can be made to work by replacing the battery, but I'll leave this to the new owner to decide. * Rechargeable battery doesn't work and I've mostly used to power up from the AC adapter. You can find replacement rechargeable batteries at a small cost on ebay. * CD-ROM drive: It was working well previously but when I tested to put it for sale, for some reason it's not reading so may not be functioning well. * Though the system works very well and the physical condition of the unit is good, it has the usual wear and tear that comes with normal usage. Please check all queries and clarifications with me before considering to buy and you're welcome to inspect the unit before proceeding with the transaction, however, there will be NO REFUNDS OR RETURN entertained after that. There is still some life left in the unit, and I'm sure someone can put it to good use for another few more years. If there are no takers, the only option for me is to strip the unit for parts and sell it for a bit more. Happy bidding / Happy buying |
