| Description of origin | | *LORESTAN is a province that is situated in the west of Iran. Lorestan or Luri rugs have been woven by the ethnic nomads living in this area. They use wool as foundation, but it is also likely to find a cotton wrap and a woolen weft. The pile is deep, and the wool is coarse, but of excellent quality. The designs are stunning geometrical patterns, on striking dark colors. Contrasting colors bring excitement to any decor. |
