Title: 'Lunar Angels' Media:High quality print on 140lb Acid Free
Watercolour Paper, Embellished with Acrylics. Size: ACEO - 2.5" x 3.5" Series: ACEO
#432- Prints#2-10 Subject Matter:Fantasy Art - Faery, Rabbit and Fawn Date Created:Printed July 2009, Embellished to order
About This
Piece:
Lunar Angels was painted during June 2009, the only painting so far featuring a faery with both a white deer and a Moon Bunny. The print features a Melancholy faery being comforted by true friends and gaurdians...
This an ACEO print, hand embellished by the artist Dawn Jane Holliday. Owning a hand embellished print is next the best thing to owning the original painting. They are limited to only 10 editions per original ACEO. Details, bright white highlights and deep black shadows are painted carefully by the artist onto each print as well as the initials being painted over, occasionally iridescent glitter is added to wings and horns.
If you have any particular requests, for example if you would like a little butterfly, moth or dragonfly added to the piece. Or if you have a preferance as to whether or not you would like glitter on your print then send a note along with the payment and I will try my best to adhere to your requirements, as each print is currently embellished to order!
Please note: Prints may be ever so slightly over or under 2.5" x 3.5". I try my best to retain the colours in the print but they will inevitably vary slighty from the original and each other.

Why Buy Original
Art?
There's nothing quite like owning a
piece of original art, knowing that there is only one in the entire
world like it, and the artist's heart and soul went into every brush
stroke. The art you buy can directly enhance your life and make a
personal statement about who you are. Different colours used in art
will promote different feelings, for example blues and greens are
comforting, yellows are invigourating and reds are passionate and warm.
The images and symbolism within the art are just as important as the
colours. Buy art that reminds you of your favourite things, echos your
hopes and dreams, nutures the child within and comforts the
soul.
Every original work of art has a life and soul of it's
own. It also increases in value over time. Mass-reproduced images and
prints change quickly with fashions and fads, and will rarely increase
in value. Original art has a magical and organic quality about it,
which seems to defy the times. Support the future of art, buy from
artists!
About The Artist Dawn Jane
Holliday
I am a
proud memeber of the Independant Artists
Group
'I'm
20 years old, but what I lack in age I make up for in determination and
imagination. I live in Surrey, England, with my partner and much loved
house rabbit. I gained a GCSE, A-Level and Diploma in Art and Design,
but I prefer to let my art do the talking rather than my
qualifications.
Art has always been part of me. Drawing came
as naturally for me, as talking. Infact I prefered drawing about things
to talking or writing about them. My drawings as a child were more like
my diaries, they documented my feelings, experiences and my
dreams.
I still put the same amount of soul and imagination
into my artwork. I love to give my paintings a heart and soul of their
own, to create art that inspires, awakens, encourages, acknowledges and
comforts. I have a passion for animals and mythology, which, as I'm
sure you can see, is reflected in my art.
I have sold my
paintings internationally, and many now reside in private collections
across the UK, US, Canada and Europe. I am also a keen photographer and
was excited to learn that one of my photographs is to be published
within a coffee table book this summer. I am currently in the process
of writing a children's book, so keep an eye out for that!
I
would just like to say how eternally grateful I am to everyone who has
supported me and my artwork along the way. Thank
you.'
