Gorgeous 1850-90s Classic Chinese Cloisonné Raised Dish

Presented is a large and beautifully crafted, Chinese cloisonné dish from the mid to late 1800s. The shallow bowl is raised on a square base that is also decorated with the same enamel designs as the bottom of the dish. The edges are in a ruffled pattern and the enameled designs consist of traditional foo dogs or Chinese dragons of various colors. The underside is in a beautiful turquoise and is decorated with thin, wired flower designs. This piece would make a beautiful addition to any home.

This early piece is not marked.

This old piece is in excellent condition. There are no chips, no cracks, no breaks, no splits and no repairs.

The bowl measures 12 1/2 by 9 1/4 inches and is 3 3/4 inches tall.
