Full Card 24 Metal Buttons Paris Old Store Stock 1880s
Description:

This is a full old store stock card of 24 buttons, 1/2 inch in diameter, probably French, dating, I believe, to the 1870s or 80s.   The buttons attract a magnet but I am not sure of the metal.  The metal top has a silvery finish and an ornate design.  The buttons are original to the card and in perfect condition.  The card has the original 7 cents each store price for the buttons marked on the back - expensive at a time when men worked for 5 or 10 cents an hour.  The card measures 5 5/8 x 3 7/8 inches and is in very good condition.  A rare find for the button or country store collector.  Thanks for looking.
