This piece of light brown glazed bowl is salvaged from a shipwreck 

belongs to the ancient Chinese merchants. 

The shipwreck is found under the deep water of South China Sea.

This light brown glazed bowl is made in Chinese Song Dynasty (AD960-1279)

There is simple lotus flower pattern incuse on the inner body.

There is a small stripe of glaze peal off at rim caused by erosion of the sea water.

Dimension: foot ring outer diameter 42mm, height 56mm and top rim 121.5mm.

In ancient, Chinese Merchants use Junks to carry porcelains and Chinese coins

to trade for spices and precious stones with Javanese, Indonesia

 This piece of green glazed bowl is a good reference for those who study

 the ancient maritime archaeology of Chinese history.
