in round shape.
Hence called " Round Hat", Chinese name "Yuan Guan "
Cast under rule of emperor Hui Zong of Northern Song Dynasty
The coins in Li script is cast by white copper, 24.7 mm, XF
The coin in seal script is 24.4mm, VF
Background
Chinese coins from Northern song dynasty (AD960 - 1127) are famous for it's beautiful Chinese calligraphy and fine quality. One interesting feature in this period is the matched coins. 2 coins in different calligraphic styles but in same period title, all dimensions, and even composition of alloy make a perfect pair . I.e. Li script vs. Seal script, Regular script vs. Seal script.
