A lot of 100 pieces coins salvaged from a Ming Dynasty shipwreck

This lot of 100 pieces interesting coins are salvaged from a 

Ming Dynasty (AD1368-1644) shipwreck.

The shipwreck is recently discovered under the deep water of South China Sea.

All the coins from this hoard are cast not later than Yong Le period.

 (AD1403-1424). This evidence suggested that the ship was sunk during early era

 of Ming Dynasty.

Original un-cleaned condition. You may even see the hard

 clay firmly attached to the coins.

A good reference for people who study

 the ancient maritime archaeology of Chinese history.

Imagining that these coins have been traveled for more than 5000 km

and finally quietly rest on the seabed for almost 600 years!
