OK PEEPS - SOME NEW STUFF HERE, PLEASE READ...

These "Buy it Now" listings are for kimono fabric yardage. These fabrics are from dead stock vintage and contemporary kimono silk bolts.

MAKE SURE THAT YOU CLICK THE PICTURES FOR LARGER IMAGES!!!!!

This one is neat. A pretty silk with a slightly raised woven line background in white and shades of bright pink. There are cool sugi (cedar trees) scattered across the length. It is a standard weight silk that has a lovely drape.

This listing is for 1 meter of fabric. If you would like to purchase more than 1 meter and would like the yardage to be continuous, please let me know beforehand so that I can cut the full length.

Note that there may be differences in pattern placement from panel to panel.

This piece is in mint condition.

THE FINE PRINT:
I make every attempt to shoot as many pictures of my fabrics as possible in order to give you the clearest idea about the pieces you may be bidding on. Please remember that the majority of these silks are of a vintage or antique nature and this means that they are almost never "perfect or mint". When I say "mint" in an auction, I really mean mint! Bottom line is, if you are looking for absolutely flawless silk fabrics than these may NOT be the auctions for you.

Flawless Japanese vintage and antique full kimonos, obis and silk panels sell for a small fortune, much higher than my highest bid end prices. When I purchase pieces to sell I look for those that are in the best condition possible. And I do state the condition of every item. Sometimes I come across pieces that I find fantastic, that may have wear from age, but can't pass up due to its beauty.

REMEMBER - with these pieces you are not only buying GORGEOUS silks but you are also getting a piece of HISTORY!!! Please, please email me if you have any questions at all with regard to these special items.

Shipping :


Shipping is a flat $4.00 anywhere in the world. For combined shipping, each additional piece of fabric (auction) that you win will cost another $2.00. That means, for example, 3 wins have a total shipping cost of $8.00.

Please bear in mind that I am in Singapore and shipping takes between 9 to 14 days to arrive at your door if you are in the US. Locations on either coast seem to take a little less than if you are further inland. Shipping to the UK, Europe and Asia take a shorter time and Canada for some reason takes longer than the US. Go figure! But trust me - these pieces are worth the wait!
