Up for auction is a collector's China 50 Yuan Chairman Mao Anniversary Banknote in UNC (uncirculated) condition.

This special bank note was issued by the People's Bank of China in 1999 for celebrating the 50th anniversary of the foundation of the People's Republic of China. On the front is the image of Mao Tse Tung during the Grand State Founding Ceremony with a holographic stamp of 'Tiananmen' and '50' on the left corner. The back has the earth, pigeons, and copper statue lion designs with the national emblem on the top-left corner.
