The real Aircraft was a regular visitor to ports such as Melbourne, Sydney, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Perth, Cairns, Townsville and Mackay whilst operating domestic services for Ansett Australia Airlines. Its Fuselage was adorned with the incredibly eye- catching "Jaffa" colour scheme, otherwise known as the "Delta" scheme due to the distinctive Ansett emblem of the period. VH-RMK was delivered brand new to Ansett on December 10th. 1967, and flew in continuous service with Ansett until December 1988. All details are captured precisely on this beautiful Model- from the colour scheme all the way down to the smallest technical details such as the Windscreen Wipers/ Pitot Tubes/ Door Raingutter Strips and all access Doors are represented!
At 1/ 150 Scale, this Model is about 33cm long. It is in mint condition and is a must- have for any Aviation enthusiast!
