23" HAND CRAFTED BELOVED BELINDY - CLOTH DOLL

Nice country / primitive look doll

Very nice job!  There is a hand written tag: Beloved Belinda made by Nancy Miller - I don't see any signature on the doll itself - however, there is a black & green 'stain' on the bottom of her left foot that may have been a signature that ran ???

Brown fabric that is firmly stuffed.  Drawn on features w/pearl button eyes.   She is weatring a grey w/pink print calico dress.  Strips from an old quilt are tied around ankles and wrist; old quilt was used to make apron.  Aged looking fabric makes pantaloons and slip.  She is holding a tape measurer and bobbin; has a brass token and old key added to her apron

Nice characture & well made.  OOAK
