Description:

1. The B+W Filter Company has been manufacturing optical filters for over 50 years. Our filters use Schott optical glass from which the filters are diamond cut, precision ground and then polished to ensure flatness on both surfaces and uniform thickness throughout. These, among other innovative measures, allow us to offer filters that meet the needs of even the most discriminating users.  
2. This UV Filter blocks the invisible UV component of light from the sky, which can cause blur and to which many color films react with a blue cast. These filters should be called UV-Blocking Filters, because there are filters for technical applications that pass UV radiation and block all the other wavelengths. Nevertheless, the short term "UV Filter" has become established among photographers. UV Filters are ideal for photography in high altitudes (in the mountains), by the sea and in regions with very clean air. The pictures gain brilliance and disturbing blue casts are avoided. Because the glass is colorless, color rendition is not altered, aside from the elimination of the unwanted blue cast, and no increase in exposure is required. That makes a UV Filter very suitable as protection of the front element of the taking lens against dust, flying sand, sea water spray and the like, and it can be kept on the lens at all times. It is recommended for analog color- and black-and-white- as well as digital photography.

Walk along Blk 157. Blk 163 is just opposite the end of 157 or next to CHIJ Girls' school. If you drive, please come in to the ample car park at Blk 169. A simple map is available in "About me". 3. time to meet (between 9am to 9pm Monday to Sunday, except 5-7pm on Saturday) at Blk 163 or 169 (please indicate)

For peace of mind, we can send via SingPost registered or optional normal mail. Posting charges are specified in the table below. Seller will assume no responsibility once product is mailed out. Goods will be arranged to be dispatched after payment clears. Please take note:
