More About the Artist: Jimmy Quek Prabhakara began learning art since 1973 and he has been practicing art full time for more than 22 years. He has held 11 one-man exhibitions and participated in more than 80 group exhibitions in Singapore, Yokohama, Kobe, Sapporo, Rotterdam, New York, Washington DC, Indianapolis, Dallas, Los Angeles, Honolulu, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Bangladesh, Beijing, Quanzhou, Shanghai, Korea, Fukuoka, Osaka, Thailand, Vietnam, Brunei Darussalam, Philippines, Indonesia and Malaysia.
Jimmy's paintings adorn many hundreds of major areas of corporations, offices and homes of art lovers and art collectors worldwide. His works are also in the permanent collection of Singapore Art Museum, Ministries and Institutions. His major works are represented at Corporate Art Gallery, Eagle’s Art Gallery and Galerie Belvedere Art Gallery in Singapore.
The artist’s works are also recorded in many art publications, his arts and exhibitions are reported in newspapers.
