The police are established as corrupt and they attempt to steal him away to make him disappear, but she follows in Bruce Wayne's car. The police pull into Galt's Gulch to, presumably, kill Dick Grayson... until Bats rain down on them and the police flee, leaving Batman to make his dramatic enterance. "You've just been drafted."
