Frameable plate from the Ward Lock edition of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carrol with art by Margaret W Tarrant, published 1916. 

Print is supplied with a mount and will fit a 9" x 7" frame.

This plate featured in Chapter XII - Alice's Evidence - and depicted the following line - 'The White Rabbit unfolded the paper as he spoke and added, "it isn't a letter after all: it's a set of verses"'

Condition is very good.
