This is an extraordinary high quality desk telephone, perfect for any Art Deco, bakelite or antique telephone enthousiast offered from my own collection!

This extraordinary Model W 48 Bauhaus telephone was manufactured in Germany by the famous Siemens & Halske ( marked on the base and inside ) in the 1950s, only very few have survived in this immaculate condition ( nothing missing, damaged or broken! ). Featured in all the important Art Deco, bakelite and telephone collecting books and displayed in respectable museums all over the world. This awesome highly collectible and very rare desk cradle telephone just screams Art Deco all over and was already a very rare find when first produced. The black and white bakelite really let this telephone stand out from the crowd! You won`t find this design in any other country,exclusively manufactured for the German market! The most unique feature from this telephone is that everything still is all original and has never been altered in all those years!! Has only some very minor signs of gentle use on the outside ( no scratches, cracks or missing pieces! ), considered normal with an original piece from that era and only underlines the authenticity from this treasure ( the telephone is still in working condition and internally very clean and near mint! ). Has all the original cloth cording, paper schematic and white & black enamelled dial....more Art Deco than this treasure you just won`t find!
