Superb, antique 1874 2 sided handcolord Colton map, either map would frame and display quite nicely. Both sides have an 1874 copyright printed at bottom, this dates the map. The superb handcoloring on the map is period, this is before color printing. Very nicely detailed, with the railroads, cities, towns, counties and so forth. One side is United States Section No 7 , showing Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee, small stain lower right hand side. Verso is United States Section No 8, showing Iowa, Illinois and Missouri, with inset map titled Vicinity of Chicago. The size of the map is 10" by 12". Rare. Winning bidder pays $3.00 shipping domestic, more foreign.
