u can forget the other cards for gaming once they are 128bit (memory) (eg: 8600, 8500, 8400 series) as their performance will be bottleneck and thus will be half (compare with 256bits) no matter if the clock is higher than some other card.
The pixels per clock that is less than 24 will also pull the graphic down as well.
