I'm selling this by the yard. This elastic came from an auction for a factory that made braces and supports. It is heavy duty good quality elastic. I can ship as much as 20 yards in a flat rate box, for $12.95. Purchases of 7 yards up to 20 will be at the $12.95 shipping rate. A great savings on shipping costs for those who purchase large amounts.  Check out my store!                     I purchased many items from an antique shop going out of buisness, and I buy many items from estate auctions. A: This 8" elastic is more like the thickness of the standard narrow white elastic. It does have a tighter stretch to it. This is more like brace or belt elastic. Thanks sh
