The J. Chein Company was known for its colorful printed tab & slot tin doll furniture, this 4-piece Nursery Set certainly lives up to their high-quality, and even includes one of the end-flaps from the original box: “No. 300 // 8” and Miniature // DOLL FURNITURE SET // Made in U.S.A. // Manufactured By J. CHEIN & COMPANY // Burlington, N.J.” (Alexander-Kins and Ginny dolls were called Miniature Dolls in the 1950s). All four pieces are in clean excellent to near-mint condition, and marked with the “J. Chein & Co. // Made in U.S.A.” shield logo. Sizes & descriptions below:

High Chair = 8” tall, 3.25” wide & 4” deep; tray lifts up

Crib = 8.75” long, 6” high & 5” wide

Wardrobe = 6” wide, 7.25” & 3.75” deep; sliding doors with hanging pole inside

Playpen = 7” wide, 3.75” high & 7” deep (a 7” square); red wood balls top corners

There is very little paint wear, only a few thin scratches, and tiny dents (bottom of playpen); Perfect for Ginnette and Alexander Little Genius babies, the set is from the careful original owner, non-smoking home.
